What We Do

THERAPIST IN BERLIN is an organization of International, multi-lingual, qualified Therapists, working in Berlin. We are here to provide an overview of therapists available to the ever-growing International Multi-lingual Community living in Berlin. Therapist in Berlin intends to make the process of finding appropriate therapeutic services easier for the community. We do this by providing a list of available therapists, with a clear outline of each therapist’s qualifications and specialist areas, along with the languages in which they work, and the area of Berlin where they work.

We are also here to provide resources for other professionals who are looking for a referral for a client, patient, acquaintance or friend. Our intention is to create a useful network between professionals from which the International Community can benefit. Working together should improve services all round. As a therapist it is important to know when it is necessary to refer a client on. Joining our resources together in a pool of information is beneficial to all concerned.

As a community organization, we do not take responsibility for each therapist’s individual work. Therefore, we recommend that you consider questions that are important to you before you go to an initial consultation. If necessary, write them down and don’t be afraid to ask them. A good therapist will be open to your questions.

In our Helpful Information if you are not sure about therapy, what to look for, what to consider when searching for a therapist, you will find an article which will give you an idea of what to expect from therapy. In this section you can also download information which could be helpful in the process of finding a therapist through your health insurance. Furthermore, there is also a link for potential therapists who are considering setting up a practice in Berlin.

We are aware that finding a therapist is not always easy. We aim to give you a clear choice with as much information as possible without overwhelming you.
